Since then, the Yellow House Hotel has evolved into a restaurant and hotel with a fine reputation for its delectable bill of fare and pleasing, comfortable atmosphere. The influence of the Yellow House Hotel on the surrounding area is evidenced by the local hamlet which bears the name of Yellow House. The hotel has played an integral part in the local history, housing a general store, the village switchboard and a post office.
