At the entrance of the Gorges du Verdon - Europe's deepest river canyon, in Les Alpes de Haute Provence, France… Le Gîte de Chasteuil, a relaxed Bed and Breakfast in a quiet 15th century hamlet at 900 meters altitude, with an excellent view of the Verdon valley and mountains. Many spectacular hiking trails, rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, the Verdon river, and several lakes. Four rooms each with private bathroom with shower. One room includes a kitchen. Your hosts will serve you delicious meals on their second-floor-covered terrace while you enjoy a amazing view of the Verdon River Gorge and the rugged limestone mountains.
